Well fed and ready for winter quarters
With two small events on Roman cuisine on the first two weekends in October, we successfully concluded the 2025 season and are now retreating to our winter quarters until next spring. In keeping with the cooler time of year, the last two events of the season took place at the Stadtmuseum in Bad Dürkheim and the Limeskastell Pohl, both of which are indoors, so that neither the audience nor our participants had to worry about getting cold feet. However, both events were still very hot and busy, with lots of cooking going on to introduce the audience to Roman food culture in the form of various hot and cold dishes. So now everyone can go into the winter break well fed and fortified before we start the new season next year with a full schedule.
